Parents please note, if your child has any kind of medication it needs to be picked up by the end of the school year or it will have to be destroyed.

Spreading kindness one egg at a time 🐣💛 The Upstanders Club filled Easter eggs with treats and uplifting messages, then hid them around Madison this week to spread kindness around the school!

Dear Families,
As a Title I school, we receive federal funding to support our students’ academic success. A vital part of this program is hearing from you—our most important stakeholders.
We invite you to complete our brief Annual Stakeholder Survey.
Why your voice matters:
Direct Impact: You help us identify what is working and where we can improve.
Funding: Your input guides our Title I budget for the upcoming school year.
Partnership: We want to ensure our school goals align with your family’s needs.
Please take five minutes to share your thoughts here: https://forms.gle/igehEGMAW2CNAMFX6
Thank you for being such an active partner in your child's education!

Madison Middle School is proud to announce that Mrs. Munn's 1st hour class has been crowned Oklahoma's State Reading Champions. This championship resulted from reading the most minutes per team (average by team member) over four weeks during READBowl IX: The World Championship of Reading, a global reading competition put on by Read With Malcolm, the Youth Literacy Initiative of NFL Super Bowl Champion and children's book author Malcolm Mitchell.
The seventh annual competition was held from January 12 through this past Super Bowl Sunday.
"Winning a state championship is always prestigious," said Mitchell. "However this year is especially notable, as there were more than one million students, from all 50 states and 19 countries on the reading field for the big game this year. I am so proud of every student who competed and congratulate our state and national champions. Training for READBowl X begins now."
Overall, students from across the globe read for more than 800 million minutes during READBowl IX. Mitchell, who struggled to read through school and into college, has made it his mission to reach kids and help them read to a better future.

Madison Middle School art students recently learned the Batik textile process, where they draw designs on fabric, apply hot wax to resist the dye, and then add color. After dyeing, the wax is ironed out to reveal their final designs. Students had fun experimenting with this unique fabric art technique! 🎨

March 26 at 6:30 Heart Matters and OSBI Special Agents from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force will be speaking about protecting youth at the Madison Middle School auditorium. It's open to the public, limited to aged 18 and up, and free!
